1. Backup battery (Part number: TIDAL-BAT2.6 or TIDAL-BAT5.2)

If you are a commercial client, it is always a good idea to have a backup battery available when you need extra charge for the day. While the lithium-ion battery that comes with your backpack is enough for 2 hours of continuous sprayer, if you forget to charge your included battery or are working on a more time-consuming job, it is essential to have a backup on hand. Systems Environmental Products has two sizes of spare batteries available. The smaller one (2.6mAh) allows for 2 hours of continuous spraying while the larger one (5.2mAh) will do 4 hours of continuous spraying

 

2. Pest control tip package (Part number: TIDAL-BORATEKIT)

 

If you are purchasing backpack sprayers for use in the pest-control industry, you will want to investigate adding on our pest control tip package. There are certain pest control jobs that may require a larger spray pattern or less chemical than the what the default tips provide. Our pest control tip package is a perfect solution to this. Not only will the correct tips make sure you apply the correct amount of liquid but having them will also allow you to save costs by only using the amount of fluid you need. The nozzle kit includes two brass fan tips from TeeJet (8003 and 8005) and easily attaches via our quick connect system on the TIDAL backpack sprayers.

3. Landscape tip package (Part number: TIDAL-LANDSCAPEKIT)

If your backpack sprayers will be used for commercial lawn care purposes, you will want to purchase our landscape tip package. The landscape package kit comes with the TeeJet FloodJet TF-VP4 tip (white), which is used for applications where the solution needs to get into the soil. This tip produces a larger droplet size for less drift and provides a uniform distribution of fluid, making it the perfect option for applications of liquid fertilizers, pre-emergent weed control, stimulants, and more. The second tip that is part of this package is the TeeJet 110-degree tip (red) that provides a smaller droplet size with uniform distribution. This type of tip is used for herbicides, pesticides, or other treatments where it is absorbed through plant leaves or grass
blades.

4. 30” stainless steel lance (Part number: TIDAL-LANCE30)

Another accessory that may be worth investing in is our 30” stainless steel lance. This is the big brother to the standard 18” stainless steel lance that comes with all our backpack sprayers. This lance allows the user to remain even further away from the sprayed chemicals during application. Additionally, this lance provides an extra 12” of reach for the technician which will allow them to get into harder to reach areas.

5. Plastic elbow (TIDAL-NOZZELBOW) + quick connect adapter (TIDAL-NOZZADAPT)

We also recommend our plastic elbow and quick connect adapter accessories. Please note that the user needs BOTH accessories to make the backpack sprayer adaptable to other manufacturer’s tips. Many technicians love this accessory because it allows them to switch between tips more easily based on the job they are completing. Certain jobs require different tip attachments for the backpack sprayer that don’t come included with the initial product. Having the plastic elbow and quick connector adapter provides you with a higher level of flexibility.

6. ¼” Adapter (TIDAL-ADAPTEXTHOSE)

Do you have a different treating tool that you would like to use with your TIDAL backpack sprayer? The ¼” adapter threads to the end of the backpack’s treating hose (M18 thread) and produces a ¼” thread which can connect to your desired treating tool or even a quick connect (Part Number: H2B and K2B). Systems Environmental Products wants to give its customers the best possible combination options available, and this accessory allows for a greater level of customization so that the technician can use whatever treating tool they are most familiar with.
